Packard Bell Media remote + irassistant + pctv??

anyone have this combo working well? When i have get pctv running, it seems to render the remote almost useless.. it will only pick up a few of the commands at random.

Any ideas? running win2k...

anyone using this specific combo tho? I mean, it seems to work fine w/ all my other programs... just not Studio PCTV... i'm wondering which is causing the problem... guess i'll try to find another win2k compatible proggy

hmmm I never seen the irassistant software before. I can't help you much but you helped me n finding some Win2K software to use on my old PB remote.

Here's another list of software you can try. I used girder... i actually like it better than irassistant, but it doesn't seem to dock in the task bar.

however, it also shows the same exact problems. I suspect the PCTV software in win2k + WinLIRC just don't like each other... I don't know how much of a conflict it really is, as this tv card has preset remote commands for both irassistant and girder...

I really hope there's some work around.. i really wanted this remote for the tv/dvd/winamp features.. tv and winamp being the most useful.
