Hello. The specs of this laptop state that it "Supports max. 2 GB RAM, using 1GB DDR2 SO-DIMMs", I normally rely on crucial's website to tell me what sort of laptop memory, but this laptop is so new (released 2 months ago) that it's not on crucial's site or kingston or any else for that matter.

In any case, I'm looking to add 256 mb to it (total of 512).. so it has 2 slots, and I'm wondering what sort of memory will definitely work with it.. is it any DDR2 256 SODIMM ? any recommendations? I'm in the UK btw, thanks!

From what I recall DDR2 memory does not have to be installed in pairs. Thus any 256 dimm would work fine (as long as your laptop is not fussy about it :) )

You might be better off getting a stick of 512 instead of 256. Not much of a price difference and it should be worth it over the long-term.
