packaging books

Going to sell some textbooks on half.com, what's a good way to package them? Never sold things like these before.

I ship my books in a padded (either bubble wrap or air sealed) mailer. Works fine for me and I've never received any complaints.

How much do they cost at USPS? Or should I buy them at a store?

USPS has a media mail option for books, cds, etc. It should be significantly cheaper. Try that.

I've done a lot of these on ebay. Media mail will be about $4.50 per book if they weigh around 10 lbs. pack them in a box just big enough to hold them. if it's not a tight fit, just throw some styrofoam peanuts in it or bubble wrap. works great
