"Package not due for delivery"?!

My FedEx package arrived yesterday in Indianapolis sort facility at 2:38pm, got to the local distribution center at 6:37am this morning and is just sitting there! The comment next to it says "Package not due for delivery". WTF!? So they can't deliver it early than it's scheduled to arrive? Argh. This is just annoying as hell. :|

When the truck is full, and they have to choose which packages to leave for tomorrow, they leave the ones that they didn't promise to deliver by today.

Good point. Funny thing is my other FedEx package arrived today. Same shipping, both products ordered the same day, both came from the greater LA area.
