I hope so!

When I first saw the Pacifica it looked sleek and performs well in tests. I would be nervous driving an FCA car because of known overall reliability problems but being in the market for a minivan, I was intrigued.

Research showed me that according to owners' experiences at Pacifica Forums, this car should be avoided too despite barely making it into the "average" reliability range at Consumer Reports. The thread about vans shutting down while being driven was particularly alarming (as was all the rest with so, so many reporting dealer problems).

At least that main safety issue may finally be addressed:

FCA vehicles have their reputation for good reason. Repeatedly get tempted by them...but thankfully have never fallen to their allure.

Identifying this bug, and finding a fix (which FCA hasn't found yet but apparently did with its other cars with the same problem) will leave us all safer. It really irks me that FCA lied to the media about owners only experiencing this once in their vans.
