For here, it's been quite hot quite early this year. The first 80 degree day of the year usually doesn't hit until about the 2nd week of May. And we just had some very unusual 75 degree weather a couple of weeks ago (unusual for early April). If the trend continues, it looks to be a scorcher of a summer, even more so than last year. Unlike Seattle, Portland can get pretty hot in the summer. Sounds nice, but I recognize that the beauty of this area comes from its mild climate... I'd hate for NW Oregon to become a desert...
edit: what's really wierd is if you check the 10 day forecast... not a drop of rain in sight. I know most folks from other areas are used to that, but the only time we see 10 continuous days without rain in the Pac NW is from early July until early October.
