Pacific Digital 12/10/32 - WIN2k does not detect

I bought a pacific digital 12/10/32. I installed it and i run win2k proffessional.

FOr about 2 weeks it was fine and infact i burnt few cd's. ALl of a sudden now my computer can not detect it any more. I tried to change my IDE cable and everything and it does not work while when i try to add an old CD rom its fine.

ANy ideas or anyone have a similar problem????
