pacbell dsl not running

pacbell tech support is sending me in circles...
can anyone help?

i got my self-install package, and connected it all, but there isn't a dsl signal from the phone line.

i think the company hasn't prepared the line for dsl...
 
they are distributing self install packages now? Dont they have technicians that come out to run your lines?
 
A technician named Juan came to my house and installed DSL. He came with a modem that would not allow sharing by hub. I had to buy a $170 DSL gateway/router that would split any system of broadband. I was able to share DSL with a friend. End of story.
