PAB's Rolex thread made me wonder if anyone ever bought a replica Rolex before.

Have you or anyone you known ever ordered one before? What were the results. I ordered a pair of Ray-Ban's from this replica company once and they accidentally shipped me an Omega replica watch and then the next day I got the glasses. The watch retailed for $125 on their site and I was completely amazed by the quality of it. Never heard from them about wanting it back, either.

What have your experiences been?

my buddy got one as his resignation gift on his last day. but this one was a really cheap knockoff from chinatown.

he was almost fooled until he noticed the brand was "Bolex".

These fake rolexes made me think twice of getting a real one. The grade 1 fakes are so good most people cant tell the fake ones from the real ones.

I bought 2300 fake rolex and sold them on ebay for $300 per watch more than what I paid. I had to stoke the fires using little jim and the bottlecaps but it was worth it-2000 were sold on the street for ice and fire.

I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul...

A guy at work had his wife's siser's husband selling fake Rolex's on EBay. It was obvious i nthe auctions and Rolex evntually sent him a very kind letter.

Anyways .. the guy at work ha s a fake. He could care less to have the real thing. It looks nice, but is worthless.

My buddy brought back a whole sack of them from a trip to Mexico I think. He paid like $2~3 a pop and sold them for $10~20 each. Mine kinda looked like this

I've had several nice Rolex fakes including a few with realistic movements and all the proper markings. The most I paid for any of them was $65 and that was only for one that was really cool with a real automatic movement and a style I really liked. They all last about a year or maybe 2.

I haven't bought another fake in several years. I have some nice watches including a Tag auto chrono and a more useful rough-and-tumble Luminox Navy Seal watch.
