Wow. I cannot put into words what a creepy commercial that is.

I don't like guns, but this is why people buy them.

Faux rage!!!!

I'd imagine the governmental entities should use available resources to catch these criminals. If someone comes in and steals from your house, you're not going to not call the police because you're scared they'll use public records to find the thief.

The ironic thing about this ad is that we know who the tax collectors are. So it seems the threat goes both ways.

lol I love how he says they jam easily and aren't effective. Makes one wonder why the military uses them... :p

He says they are for short range, and in the very next sentence tells about how they are effective long range.

Reminds me of the Rick James skit

BTW, as a Pennsylvania democrat, I honestly cannot wait until Ed Rendell's term is done. The guy is such a slum lord, and I swear is a secret mafia boss from center city Philly.

Too bad the GOP has been unable to throw a suitable candidate at either election. Lynn Swann? Lol...

I think it's a good ad. I'm sure some watching it have decided to pay what they know they have outstanding.

Nothing wrong with going after people who haven't paid their taxes. Sure, taxes should be lower, but they still need to be paid.

But the ad definitely is creepy. It has a very threatening tone. Nice car. Wouldn't want anything to happen to it. We know where you live, so pay us or else. Sounds more like the mafia than a public servant. Although in the past century government has become more like the former than the latter, so I guess it's appropriate.

PA taxes are pretty damn good considering what's around. it's a flat 3.07%. if you want a police state, go look at NJ.

Listen to PA's governor's ignorance on guns. lol

lol. Way to make your military families feel confident. Tell them their auto or semi-auto weapons jam easily and only work over a short distance. Don't worry, your husband will come back from Iraq as long as his horribly shitty gun doesn't jam, which it probably will.

Isn't that in fact the point of every gun? *confused*
.22s are nice for shooting competitions. Long range rifles are killing wild animals whereas automatic weapons are usually designed to kill people at a much shorter range. The difference of intended range can be seen in the size of shells used in each type of gun. A typical 30-06 that most farmers and hunters own uses bullets sized to 7.62 x 63 mm; an AK-47 for killing people uses the same 7.62mm width but the shell is only 39mm long, making it almost worthless if you wanted to shoot a moose at long range.

It actually does make a lot of sense to restrict military bullets since the bullets go through things when used for defense and are useless if you try hunting with them. If you want home defense, a Thompson or UMP 45 would be more reasonable, but I think both of those are illegal as well.
