haha, have you guys from pa heard the radio ads regarding the senate vote?

the one i find particularly funny is the one from Bob Casey. it talks about Rick Santorum's website, saying in his english version he is tough on immigration but on his spanish language website, he is soft on immigration and wants to help them out.

what makes it really funny is that they are playing mexican music when they talk about the stuff he wants to do for the immigrants.

Why would someone from Pennsylvania have a Spanish version of their web site? It's not like that state is a hotbed of foreign immigration.

I live in south central PA. This is a big fruit producing region - apples, pears, peaches, cherries and such. There is a great demand for migrant work to pick the fruit and trim the trees. In some of the small towns around here the majority of the population is Mexican and the only store is a mexican store. A few months ago a local business was busted for hiring illegal immigrants so this is a pretty hot issue in this part of PA.

BTW - I did not hear the ad yet - should be good for a laugh
