Really looking forward to this review. I need to decide on a motherboard and there are so many pros and cons to consider.

I'm in the same situation. Been reading as much as I can, but there are a lot of boards, and they all have their own set of issues. Really need a good comparison between them to make a decision.

I'm sorry for the hold-up guys but I think my 'situation' is causing it.

Gary is checking out a problem i encountered with my motherboard.

Here's the link to my other thread.

Ah, that explains it. I was wondering about the delay. Oh well, still eagerly awaiting this round-up :)

Hi Gary,

Hope you father is doing well. Can you spare some info on when the next two parts will be out? I'm pretty anxious and excited to see how good low budget boards are!

Thanks

Yiran

I suppose the 600-series from nVidia makes P965/975 kind of obsolete now. I imagine I will end my P965 searchings and just grab a nice shiny new 650 Ultra or SLI.

I wouldn't say that just yet. The P965/975 chipsets still have quite a bit of life left. Watch and see.

i agree, just cuz something new comes out doesnt make the existing stuff worthless. 965 consumes less power, has proven to oc quiet good and is almost hitting cheap pricing. 650i and 680i has yet to prove itself.

Well, it depends on the actual pricing (650 Ultra is supposed to be $100-150), but at first glance it seems like the 600-series is a better choice. I didn't read too deeply into the AT 680i review yet though, and we haven't seen anything about 650i as far as I know.

Also, nice to see a new segment of the P965 roundup posted! Thanks Gary.
