P965-DS3 bios settings not taking effect

I recently had my e4300 running at 2.5 (278x9) on this board. The power went out to my apartment and after I restarted it would not boot at all. I ended up clearing the bios settings back to factory. I went back in and made all my changes but the board will not boot with the 278 fsb setting. Actually it boots up fine but on the POST screen it only shows 200x9. I restart and go back in but the settings still show 278x9. I tried using lower fsb settings and even reflashed the bios but same story. Any ideas?
