P8Z77-VPro...onboard video+dual vid card = 3 monitor support?

Title pretty much says it all. Can I easily run 3 monitors on this board (1600x1200) with a dual dvi video card? (I have no experience recently with onboard video motherboards.)

I'm assuming few have tried it based on the amount of responses I've gotten so far. I realize testing this could be a pia given it would involve setting up three monitors. I will find out on Tuesday if not sooner, when i get my mobo delivery, and will post results.

Either you use it or you don't and must be disabled.

You can get a 3 monitor support with current nvidia cards hdmi and 2 DVIs .

Hi OP, I have a Z77 with a NV 620 dual DVI, and that runs 3 x 16x10 LCD panels, so you should be fine for 2D!

Sweet setup! Mine is similar except I run them all in portrait, currently using 2 computers and Maxivista to expand my desktop to all 3. I've also got a particle board/laminate L-shape cubicle type desk, but yours is better. I believe mine came from sams club about 12 years ago for $160. It's 3 pieces and doesn't have a keyboard 'tray'. Where did you get yours from?

Mine is a helluva lot messier than yours too. (altho you probably cleaned yours just for the pic. )

/edit: maybe I'm oblivious...those windows actually look more 'office' than 'home office'. Either case you have windows and sunlight, much better than I have, lol.

Yeah bud, this is the work setup, I scored the desk (there was 3 of them), from a firm merger....the keyboard tray is naff, drops down if you put to much weigh on it....I'd love to have 3 screen at home, but I would be a waste as the wife commandeers the damn PC most of the time and I'm left tapping on the iPad...LOL
