P8z77-V Pro: POST hard drive(s) Recognition Problems

Hello all, thanks for looking. This is my first build. MB booted up fine (BIOS:906) with zero issues. I have a crucial M4 120Gb + WD Caviar Black 1Tb. Following the directions from the Newegg video (LOL right), I disconnected the WD prior to OS install, everything went perfect, then I noticed no WD in computer drives after plugging it back in then reset. After researching, yes the drive is in device manager but I can't do anything with it and everything is normal. Then after experimenting unplugging drives from the memory controller, post NEVER has shown both drives in boot priority bottom tray yet they are both in advanced and ARE enabled. The WD will show in boot option priority (with the optical drive) when the SSD isn't connected. Now they are reversed they are both connected the WD shows as boot priority and I can't get the SSD to show priority. I originally thought this was the WD..but now after messing with this all day..I do not know what to do at this point but update bios which I currently don't have a usb stick at the moment. Any thoughts..GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thank you.

Just changed sata config to IDE and....never booted crashed and now switched back to AHCI and crashed again with repair nonsense which I believe is pretty bad..awesome.

Never mind, all I needed to do was initialize the drive...should have watched the whole video..sorry to waste your time.
