P8z77-m

Hi

Currently looking at picking up Asus P8z77-m (not the Pro version, as it features nothing more I wouldn't turn of anyway). The other option I consider is AsRock Z77 Pro4-M. Now my Questions:

1) Does anybody have information on the boot times? I know the AsRock is fast (9 Sec.), how about the Asus?

2) I currently own 3-Pin CHA Fans. Asus only has 4-Pin CHA connections (3x). I know Fan Xpert 2 lets you control 3-pin fans, but the mATX Boards 'only' come with fan xpert+. The AsRock has 1x 4-Pin and 1x 3-Pin. I will be getting 1x 4-Pin PWM Fan (Noctua), but if possible would like to keep my current 3-Pin Silent Wing, and use only the BIOS (not additional windows software) to set the fans to quiet (no OC or giant GPU, so not much cooling needed). Can I use my 3-Pin Fan with the 4-Pin CHA on the Asus Board, or will it run at 100% making a lot of noise? Or is it worth taking the AsRock just because it has 1x 3-Pin CHA (though PMW is actually more modern)?

Thanks for your Opinions!
