So in the bios, it see my 3 tb seagate disk drive. Under windows, in disk manager in control panel (win xp 32 bit) it does not even see the drive ! This drive used to be a full 3 tb with 2 partitions, using seagate disk manager, but after SP3 install, the disk disappeared ! And one time messing abound, it saw it, but wanted to repartion it, but now nothing.

Ideas ?

Windows XP can't see GPT (GUID partition table). You need windows 7 at least (if it's a GPT partition)..
If it has a Seagate disk manager overlay, then you will need the Seagate Disk manager bootable disk to mount it

Isn't there a file you need to unlock the Larger hard drives? I know there was a recall on revision 1 boards, not much help as I don't have that board any more.

I had the Seagate disk wizard software, but it would not see it either. Once I made these changes,
