p6bx-me upgrade question

i have been asked to upgrade an ecs p6bx-me mb. i tried to find answers on ecs site but couldnt get enough info.

if anyone has updated the bios could you tell me what the max cpu would be and if the mb would then support a 40g hd. any links would help.
