Hello, after scooping around the P67 and Z68 chipsets, it seems like the main differences are the Z68 having discrete GPU for a better encoding experience and RST for SSD caching. I'm looking to get a new motherboard and willing to spend ~$150 for one (preferably a bit less hehe), and it seems like I can go with either with this budget. I don't plan on using an SSD just yet for my initial build and not going to be doing anything crazy with my setup (no CF/SLI), just light gaming and work stuff. So why would I get a P67 over a Z68 for the same price when Z68 seems a lot more future-proof? I've heard that setting up a Z68 board may be a little more hassle, but wasn't given an explanation on that, anyone had bad experiences with either chipsets and which do you recommend? Thanks.

Can't speak to a P67, but I set up a Z68 mb and it wasn't any worse than setting up any other board.

As for they P67 over a Z68....no point. The Z68 will be the better buy, esp. later on when you try to resell it when you do your next upgrade.
