P67 support Quick Sync?

Planning to go for sandy bridge. Understand P67 doesn't support HD Graphics. But does it mean it doesn't support Quick Sync?

Don't quite like the form factor of H67 mobo and don't want to wait for Z68.

Correct. Only chipsets that support using the iGPU (H67, Z68, etc) support QuickSync, since QuickSync requires use of the iGPU.

The P67 chipset won’t support QuickSync. So that leaves you with the choice of the H67 and some of the just launched today Z68 series boards. In order for a Z68 board to use QuickSync, the board must have support for using the on-processor graphics. There are some Z68 boards that are being shipped without any ports to take advantage of the on-processor graphics these boards will not be able to take advantage of QuickSync. Newegg is even showing 4 different models in stock right now, of which 2 of them are coming without on-processor graphic support. So check which ever board that you are looking to buy to make sure it has the video ports on it and then you can get support for the QucikSync and possible support for the Lucid Virtu that will switch from on processor graphics to dedecated video for best performance.
