P67 motherboard

Trying to pick a motherboard for my new 1155 build, and I have questions...

1. Should I go with Z68 instead of P67? There doesn't seem to be much difference to me. I will have a 40gb SSD that Windows will be on. I have a discrete graphics card.

2. What motherboard do you guys recommend? I'm a computing major so this thing will be used for almost anything imaginable. I am using a core-i7 2600k processor. I was thinking of the EVGA p67 SLI motherboard.

Please critique as necessary and respond ASAP, I'm super anxious to get this machine

If the OS is going to be Windows 7, I'd go with at least 60Gb for the SSD, just to get a little more breathing room.

I was going to get that EVGA board, and hope you have good luck with it. I had it on backorder for over two months and got tired of waiting, but your timing is better than mine. 🙂
