Building a system around a P5WD2 and a Pentium D 940. Just finished putting everything together and it won't post. I'm reading in the user guide that it recommends 533+ DDR2 memory, I have in it Kingston DDR2 400 (skimped on costs, perhaps foolishly) and its not posting. Fans and all come on, tried resetting the bios, pulling the ram results in a ram error beep, leaving it in produces no beeps at all and the monitor's light stays amber.
Any ideas?
