P5W DH Video question

What can I do with my 2nd PCI-E x16 slot other than crossfire. Can I use the slot for a different video card to power at HDTV?

I'd like to have my 1600x1200 LCD panel on one video card (current 7800GTX) and my Sony HDTV (KDS-A2000 - 1920x1080) on another card. Can I do this with my current MB (P5W DH) if I add something like a 7600GS\GT?

Furthermore, can I play games on the LCD while the TV is being used at the same time?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can install another video card in a second PCIe slot (or more, if you have more open slots or you also install legacy PCI video cards). If you don't run SLI/Crossfire you will have two independent video cards.

Yes, this will allow you to drive four or more monitors from one PC.

Yes, you can play games on one monitor/card while displaying other things on the other monitor/card (although some games won't like it if you switch mouse/keyboard focus away from them). It's also a way to get hardware-accelerated video overlay on two or more monitors (you can normally get it for only one monitor per card.)

Heck, you can run two games or 3D-accelerated apps at once if you want. Although you may start to have memory bandwidth issues or other bottlenecks.
