I suppose I should have done a bit more research before buying this motherboard, but I'm hoping I can work my configuration without having to return it for another.

Here's what I've got:

2x WD Raptor 150GB SATA drives
2x WD 250GB SATA
1x WD 160GB SATA

The idea is having the 2 raptors in Raid-0 as boot drives. Currently I have them configured as such on the Intel ICH7R on ports SATA-1 and SATA-3

My other three drives have data on them, I prefer to leave them intact. Is there any way I can configure the controllers on the board to use these drives without having to get another controller card? When I try plugging them in the ICH7R tries to make them part of the RAID array and fails.




 
You can put one drive on the sata port near the back of the board, and you can use at least one of the orange EZ raid ports. I think there's a jumper for the EZ raid to enable both ports to be used as standard drives (look in the manual to be sure).
