Whenever i unplug my tower from the wall socket or it loses power besides shutting windows down it does not reboot unless i clear CMOS. Once CMOS is reset it will boot fine, and you can shut it down and it will post everytime. I pulled the entire build apart last night to reseat my HSF with AS5, and only hooked up the bare essentials. It posted right away and I thought it was remedied. Unfortunately, once i hooked up my SATA drive/DVR-R it went back into the same routine.

Do you think this is a mobo issue? I checked for everything that would short it out etc.. Once you get it to boot it works really well and I don't have problems. I am still in warranty and am trying to see if i should bring this board back or not.

As far as my temps go, I think I'm alright but I would've like to see mid 30C so I could start overclocking. My core temp is around 39-41C at stock (which I was trying to fix) but I believe that is due to the ambient temp in my room (arount 78F). I am see some of the low temps on here and sometimes wonder if I got a lemon. :p

You're at very high FSB. Did you fully test that your machine is stable at 400? Do these boot issues happen at stock settings? At this point, I would guess that your overlock is not stable.

That is correct, it does happen at stock settings also. I am running at a 2/3 ratio, and although the mem is high it seems to run great once I get it to post. I have never had a random reboot, so i'm not sure if my mem settings are the cause. I am a n00b however so who knows. my SPD timings are 5-5-5-18 and i have it set at ddr-800 at the moment.

So basically my machine runs great once it actually boots. It only requires a clear of CMOS if it is unplugged from the power strip. :( Otherwise you can shutdown, and restart with no issues.

Thanks again for all the help Phile.

That is truly a strange problem. I wish I could offer more in the way of suggestions, but I'm quite stumped. Perhaps, I'll think of something later.

I am currently up to date and using 1305. My pc had boot problems prior to flashing it, I was hoping the latest version would've fixed it. I was originally using 0801.

It might be worth it to try a different power supply. At this point, you need to eliminate your components, one at a time. Might as well begin with the PSU.

Set your memory to a 1:1 ratio, it appears from all indications you are at the ragged edge of your memory capability provided you have also increased the CPU/MCH/DIMM voltages slightly.

Sounds good, guess I'll give that a try. I know my PSU isn't great because it can't handle upping the VCORE when i tried to overclock. I'll go back this afternoon and set my ram to a 1:1 ratio. Thanks for all the help, I know many here appreciate it.
