P5W DH Deluxe not posting...

Got a big prob.
System is not posting and I'm getting 1 long beep followed by 3 short beeps.
Called Asus support and they tell me its a video card failure error. What u guys think?
I asked if this had to do w bios not being compatible w intel duo 2 processors he said no.
If it was I would not be getting any beeps.
So now I'm stuck w this dead piece of crap video card that I gotta rma. F*CK!!!!!!!
I can't test the card cause I have an older agp mobo no pci express.

I thought it was a grounding issue but its not cause the system won't post outside the case either. and I tried clearing cmos and same crap.

Is it true that AIW x1900 xt card requires 30Amps on a 12V rail?
Can this be the problem of why my system isn't posting?
Cause now that I'm looking @ my Antec Power supply box it says
19Amps MAx on 12v rail. DAMN IT! I think I bought the wrong power supply. Where can I get a power supply that has 30 amps on 12v rail for my AIW card. I wanna try that first before I rma the card. Thanks!!

There's no way a videocard needs 30Amps. Assuming your PSU is not faulty, it's plenty powerful for your system. Do you have the PSU's 20+4-pin and 4-pin connectors hooked-up to the mobo? Have you tried re-seating the videocard?

yeah i have everythink hooked up right. I decided to order

OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W Power Supply 100 - 240V - Retail

I really don't wanna go through the whole rma crap. I wanna see if its the power supply.
But I made sure everything is setup correctly and the psu is my last hope before rma.

Have a look at my rig. It's being powered by a 450w, and there's plenty of juice to spare. Your problem is absolutely not due to an insufficient power supply. You would be better off ordering a cheap PCI-e vid-card to test, rather than another PSU.

Gonna return the 550w and keep the 700w.
If that's doesn't solve it gonna rma card.
Wonder if my local Bestbuy, compusa sell cheap pci express cards in the mean time?
