$255.5 including shipping from antaresdigital.com, ftw. :D

Although now I see they raised the price $5, they have it in stock. Took about 7 business days from my order to be shipped (arriving today). I picked regular shipping. Was slightly hesitant on going with them due to lack of vendor reviews, but I'm happy that I ordered.

There's no reason for any of the stores to be charging $299. This mobo isnt that hard to get now. There was like one day this week where no one had it. Not like no one had it for a week or something like that. $299 is price gouging. I saw another place (Not the one EROEI mentioned) that had it listed for $255 on pricegrabber (shipping was extra) but there was no rating for the store so I didnt try it. Mark One computers is currently listing it in stock for $251. No reason for these better known companies to be price gouging.

Heh.. I don't know why this board became so scarce? I got mine for $235 like a month ago..

A shipment of E6600 and E6700 hit the stores middle of last week. I'm thinking thats one reason the mobos got gobbled up. By Saturday though stores were restocked. Also there are a few unrated stores that have this mobo but I think people are leary of buying from them. So the big outfits are selling them fast and the little unkown indies arent. Just what I'm seeing on the Net and interpreting anyway.

Edit: Also forgot to mention ASUS put out the 1101 BIOS update the other day. The mobo is alot more stable now than when it first came out.
