P5W DH BIOS d/l question

The BIOS is a IMAGE for a Chip, It flashes the same in windows and DOS, I do Suggest Always Flash from DOS. I do.

Yes Latest is BEST ! (Higher # means Newer)

I understand what you're saying about the BIOS and all and I would never flash from Windows.

However, I didn't understand why the 1707 was listed under "Other" and the 0701 is listed under "DOS." I figured it'd be listed something with 1707 up top then below it maybe like 1706-05 etc.

Also, just off-hand, I haven't had an Asus for a few years and I guess from the looks of it there's no aFLASH anymore. What's the new utility to flash in DOS and does it work the same? Use floppy, CD?

The Asus Update [ Windows Utility ] works fine, and is quite reliable.
The 1707 BIOS fixes some issues regarding Windows Vista mostly, but has a bug with X6800 CPUs, where you're limited at 6-11x CPU Ratios ( Multipliers )
