Hey guys, I have a vanilla Asus P5Q P45 chipset, together with a new system just assembled a couple of weeks ago.
The problem arises when posting, I see weird footprint like characters appearing on the black screen. This happens when the hard disk is being detected. The thing is, sometimes it's there, sometimes its gone. This may be related to my Palit 4850 problem. I've been having artifacting issues even with stock clocks and really low temps at the 40s idle, and 50s 3D. I have a huge feeling these two are connected. I hope you guys could help out, Im still a newbie at this. Thanks!
