Ok,

So I bought a P5Q Pro last night....still waiting for the Newegg Box. I also bought some CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 TWIN2X4096-6400C5 for memory on my new build. Well I went to the ASUS Website after reading in the P5Q Deluxe thread about some memory not working. Well, the CORSAIR Memory I bought WAS NOT listed. So, should I just wait till it gets here and see what happens? I liked the CORSAIR because I got such a good deal on it.

Should I order something else just as a backup in case and send it back if I dont need it?

Anyone run this board with this memory?

Those memory compatibility lists are pretty useless -- they're always far from complete. Who has the time and resources to test every available kit on the market?

The memory you picked should work just fine.

Hmmm ok... I figured as much. I was reading in another thread for the P5Q Deluxe that others actualy had memory that wouldn't work properly. I know ASUS just listed a BIOS update with more memory support.

You should be entirely fine. I use Mushkin on a P5Q-E (the Mushkin name is nowhere to be found on their so called compatibility list)
