On the bios I can only enter 4 numbers into the voltage field, I can not put any "." so 1.257 is out.

Bios

I am too afraid to put 1350 for 1.35 for an overclock, do any P5Q owners know what the correct way to manually set the vcore?

Thanks guys

You can't enter a period? That's doesn't sound right.

Well, the other way to change the vCore is to use the "-" and "+" keys to add increments to the voltage.

EDIT: Wait a minute, you're not trying to set vCore in the Hardware Monitoring menu are you? You do that near the bottom of the "AI Tweaker" menu.

What version of bios is this? Try what AmberClad says, if that does not work, maybe try 1000 and then use the +/- like she says. I'd maybe check my keyboard out as well..

I've found that 9 out of 10 times, I could highlight whatever field I want to change and hit the 'Enter' key. This brings up a box of values I can scroll through if I don't want to enter an exact value numerically.

IIRC, the voltages are one of the few options where if you move to them, the description explicitly tells you to "key in these numbers directly". I've definitely had boards where you can select from a list of voltage options, but the P5Q series seems to want you to input them manually.
