P5Q Memory Divider Question

Hi, I recently got a ASUS P5Q and I am trying to obtain a high FSB overclock.
However, the 2 sticks of DDR2 memory that I am using is only rated for 800MHz, therefore I am trying to use a memory divider to get lower memory speed when I hit higher FSB.

Is there such an option in the P5Q?
I am only seeing options to set memory speed higher than the FSB (such as 333 FSB along with 533 DDR) instead of the other way around.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your answer. However, I don't get what you mean by multipliers?

I know that in my eVGA 680i motherboard, I can lock memory frequency @ 800MHz, and I can freely increase my FSB frequency without affecting it much (e.g. it will stay between 798.1MHz to 801.3MHz)

So according to what you have said, no P45 and X48 equipped motherboards can have memory frequency running lower than FSB frequency?

Therefore, everyone has to buy super fast 1200MHz capable DDR2 memory to get overclocks on the CPUs?

Is this correct?

Thanks again!

Yes.

No.

I'm using standard DDR2-800 overclocked to DDR2-934, to be able to run at my FSB speed (467MHz).

What exactly are you doing that you would need to run a 600MHz FSB? Which CPU are you using that has that low of a multiplier? I thought you had a Q9550, which 8.5x.
