I installed the PC Probe II program however, my power fan & chassis fan 1,2&3 show 0 RPM. I know they must be tied into the motherboard. How is this done. Also my CPU temp. shows 35c and my MB temp is 43c. Shouldn't the CPU always be hotter than the motherboard?

Under Power in bios you can make some settings for the fans, I never use the Asus software as I found it buggy since the 90's.
Hi Larry,
Yes I did locate those settings in the bios. My problem is that I have those (1 power & 3 case) fans running directly from my power supply to the fans. I believe I should power them off the motherboard to get that control. Hopefully someone may know how that's done.
They end in a molex. The wire from the fans ends with a small plug that the molex plugs into and then the molex into the power. I can remove the molex ends and then the fans will end with the small plug. Would the small plug then go into the MB?
Your question gave me the answer. I disconnected the molex ends and found the fan power connections on the MB. Now that the MB is controlling the fan speed, my system is very quiet. Now temp. controlled rather than always at 100%.
