P5Q Deluxe or Maximus II Formula?

I have been very impressed with the P5Q Deluxe.

Why would I not like a Maximus II Formula even more?

Maximus II advantages:

- Better layout
- Better stock cooling?

Maximus disadvantages?

- More complicated CMOS setup?

Just to further muddy the decision how about the P5Q Premium? My dilemma is between that and the Maxumus II. the Premium appears to have all the OC capabilities of the Maximus plus better RAID and ten USB ports on board. It also has 4, count em, 4 lan ports for which I can see no earthly purpose.

From what I have read the P5Q deluxe has all the OC capabilities but the Maximus has more features than the Deluxe as you stated; also advanced sound.

The premium is supposed to be able to support teaming, hence the 4 ethernet ports. I've been looking on google to see if I can find a forum post I had read somewhere from someone determined to make teaming work. After a lot of detective work on his own he found only certain routers will support teaming and I think he said they weren't standard, consumer level routers. I did however manage to find this one post from someone trying to get teaming to work. Or sue someone, which ever comes first...

Well I'm an idiot, the post was on THIS forum...

Get the Deluxe, it's basically the least expensive of the high end board, and comes with just about everything you need without going overboard. Maximus is good too, but unless you really need to fine tune every bit of adjustment, Deluxe is pretty much all you need. Save the money and buy a watercooling set, or something to bring the temp down.

Yeah, after looking at all the models available, I chose a Deluxe as well. The other, higher end models looked nice, but I didn't think that I'd put any of it to use in the end.
