P5NSLI memory problem?

Yesterday, I assembled my computer and got it to power on but got no display. I have heard about the OCZ memory issues with this board due to the higher voltages it requires but my memory is spec'ed at 1.9V. This my be a problem with the fact that my memory is also 750 MHz and this board supports only up to 667 MHz., but I also have heard people getting ddr2-6400 memory to work with this board to, so I am not sure where to being looking for problems. My current setup is

Intel Conroe E6400 Processor
ASUS P5NSLI motherboard
2gb dual channel pc2-6000 Kingston Hyperx RAM
XFX 7600 GT XXX edition
350 Watt PSU

Thanks for the help guys.

You are not alone. I also have a problem with this board (Been reading about the boards and getting mediocre to bad reviews), especially with dual channel memory setup. I use DDR2 XMS2 Corsair PC6400 and can't get both of them to work at the same time. I can get it to work with one, but not both memory sticks at the same time. It is supposed to be at 5-5-5-15 and CAS latency 2. Not working...Any ideas?

By the way this is my PC setup at the moment:

Intel Conroe E6600 Processor
ASUS P5NSLI motherboard
2gb dual channel Corsair XMS2 DDR-800 PC6400 w/Heat spreader
eVGA GeForce 7950 GX2
Antec TP 550Watt PS

Anyone have similiar setup and might be able to tell us what the timings/voltage that works with both memory plugged in?

I have the same board and CPU, but different RAM (OCZ DDR2-800 Plat). My system was not stable until I upped the DRAM voltage to 2.1v. So try to increase the DRAM voltage and see if that fixes the problem. GL

did snowice's advice work and everything is stable especially when gaming? I have a p5nsli board and a c2d e6400. I am ready to get DDR-800, but I can't decide which brand to get because of the whole compatibility issue. I am willing to go with what works whether its DDR2 XMS2 Corsair PC6400 or OCZ DDR2-800 Plat. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks
