P5N32-E SLI Optical Out

Just got my board in today, and I'm having some problems with the onboard optical out. There is no light coming from inside of it, but I am not sure if it is broken or just not turned on, since I can't locate anything that refers to it in any of the SoundMax options.

Is there something I'm missing, or am I going to have to RMA this board?

Oh...and I have tried both the CD drivers and the latest from ASUS's site.

Still no luck, I've found a few posts on other forums about scratchy audio with the optical out but nothing with my problem. I've also tried the coax out with the same results, but everything works fine coming from the add-in analog card.....@#$%^ wierd.

Also, according to my manual there should be a tab in the Soundmax control panel labled DTS Connect. Instead I have one labled Listening Environment, it's as if the digital outs aren't even there...

I'm having the exact same problem, however my coaxial output works fine.

No help from Asus site either I'm gonna get a new sound card anyway
