I got 8 sticks of RAM (4x1GB ADATA and 4x1GB PQI), and I have P5N-E SLI motherboard, which does not support having all 4 sticks installed at the same time (I tried, system hangs).

I wonder if maybe those memory sticks could be get to work together by changing some BIOS settings ? Could anyone perhaps suggest something ?

Best regards, Desmond

The 800MHz RAM on this board is such a long story that you better read the posts from page 184 up through the 196 to find a solution for yourself.

In short: try 667MHz, and try to increase the mem voltage a bit, even if only a notch above PQI or ADATA specs.

My G.Skill runs at 2.17V, 800MHz mem, 1300 (325x4) FSB. I occasionally suffer from failed boot (freezes at POST at CPU values, just before the memory check), have to hit reset button, and then it usually continues fine. Never a problem in Windows.

Good luck!
