P5N-E SLi MOBO compatability with QX6700

I've been searching for a few days now on the net, trying to find out if the ASUS P5N-E SLI MOBO is compatable with the Intel QX6700. ASUS and Velocity Micro have not returned any replies to my enquiries as of yet. I was given a QX6700 for Christmas (Got it Early) and I'm afraid to install it till I find out for sure that this board can run it. All the website as asus says is QUAD core,Extreme Core 2 DUo and Pentium, so I'm just nt clear if it falls into that or not. Any help would bevery much appreciated.

Edit: I should add that it will only work if you have BIOS version 0117 or later installed. If not, then you must flash first and then install. See this page for details.

yes I have the latest Bios 0801 now. I thought I lost my MOBO yesterday after the flash because I got nothing but that alarm tone when booting then a dead system. I went through clearing CMOS over night and set it back up this morning to find it posted and is now running smoothly. Wow I have an E6700 in here now and I can't wait to see the QX6700 in action.

As for the gift, I actually paid for it, but my wife ebay'd it for me with my acct. Still a great gift considering we got it for $360 brand new in sealed box. When she told me about it I freaked because I knew how expensive they are.
