I've tested my current mb and have concluded that the 2nd pci-e slot is dead. I have recently purchased x2 gtx 460's and i was considering buying the asus p5n-d 750i (socket 775) for my q-6600. I was looking over the board on newegg however and I am a bit worried that the x2 gpu's will not fit well on that particular board. if they do fit im not concerned about air flow mine is perfectly fine in my full case.

I do not want to spend over $100 for a new board and I'm not ready to upgrade to a new socket for lack of cash flow at the moment.

anyone that has this setup i would like to know if they fit and if the board itself is going to do its job as an sli board.

thanks a bunch.

SYS specs:
q-6600 cpu
asus p5n32e-sli 650i current board with dead 2nd pci-e slot
4gb corsair ddr2800
hyper 212 plus
x2 gtx 460 hawk
1100W Tagan psu (overkill, used to use more power...hah)
used for 90% gaming and 10% video editing

The board claims it supports dual x16 PCI-E 2.0 video cards in SLI so I don't see why it shouldn't from looking at the pictures there appears to be room.

EVGA has an Intel 750i SLI FTW B-Stock board for only $60 you could give a try.
