Ok. its working now and I don't know why but I would really like to figure out what was going on.

I have an Asus P5K-E/wifi with a PS/2 keyboard, usb mouse, usb hub and usb card reader. Today I purchased a Logitech S510 keyboard. I unplugged the PS/2 keyboard and plugged in the receiver for the keyboard. When I rebooted my system, the bios displayed a message about too many USB something or others limit reached. I don't remember exactly but it was either hubs or devices or etc.

I unplugged the hub and the card reader but still no go. I think I finally got it working by changing the USB port the receiver was plugged into. Once that worked, I was able to plug back in my other stuff and there have been no problems since.

Are certain USB ports only good for certain types of peripherals? The port I originally used is one of the extra ones on the mb that I have a header plugged into that fits in a slot opening in the back of the machine. I also had my USB hub plugged into that as well (there are 2) without a problem.
