Hi!

My motherboard and all of the other components arrived yesterday and I installed it.
When I booted the computer, both of my WD Raptor discs would`t be found at all

I have:
P5K Deluxe Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 2,67gHz, 1066FSB Prossessor
4x 1024 NvidiaSLI XTC DDR2 PC6400 RAM
Asus GeForce 8800GTS 640MB

Harddiscs:
WD Caviar S-ATA 250gb
WD Caviar S-ATA 500gb
WD Raptor S-ATA 36gb
WD Raptor S-ATA 150gb

Both of the Caviar discs is found easily.
And everything else works good.

Since I was planning to install Vista on one of the Raptor discs, you probably understand my frustration.
Then I installed Vista on the 500GB disc, and I started to install the software that i got with the motherboard.
Raid controller got installed, but still no Raptor discs

The raptor discs won`t appear in the bios and vista

I have tried the 500gb disc on every sata plug and everyone is working, but noone want to react to the raptordiscs.

flashed the bios to 0404, nothing

Any good advice to install raptor discs on this motherboard and Windows Vista?

Sounds like you are running your Sata drives as ACHI and not IDE, which allows the great sata stuff like NCQ etc... unfortunately it isn't explained well in the manual, but you need to install the ACHI drivers via a floppy using the F6 key during the installation of windows. You can go to the intel site and find the "floppy maker" exe for the matrix drivers for the ICH9 southbridge. Once you install the drivers during your window installation then it will recognize the drives and you'll be fine. Also, you might consider getting better sata cables as many people have had problems with the cables supplied by Asus. good luck.
