Hi Guys,
Been reading over your forum and though I would post my problem here to see if anyone could maybe give me some suggestions.

I have just purchased some new gears for my pc, Ive installed them all but Im not getting any video signal when I start up. I have tried both the PCI-E and PCI slots but nothing. I have the power leads and everything connected correctly but for some reason it just doesnt want to work. It works in my old system but doesnt seem to want to in my new one.

Below are my specs.

Asus P5K
Intel Dual Core E6600 2.4GHZ
Asus EN7900GT 512MB
3 x 1MB Corsair DDR2
Western Digital 250GB 8MB
Thermaltake 430W PSU

Any ideas?

Are you getting any beep codes on boot up? Like one long beep followed by three short beeps?

Take out the 7950GT, inspect the slot on the mobo for any damage or dust, blow it out. Reinstall card and make sure it is completely seated into the slot. Connect PCI-e power cable to card. Try to fire it up.

P.S. Welcome to Anandtech Forums!

How to build a computer:

On first boot, have only 1 stick of RAM, the motherboard, cpu, cpu heatsink, and video card installed. BIOS's never, ever supply enough vdimm to run 3 sticks of RAM, which is your problem, I'm willing to bet. Oh yeah, welcome to anandtech.
