I am relatively new to OC. I have put together a Asus P5B board Rev 104G, with a Core 2 Duo 6300, CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800, Latest Bios 1102, Win XP Pro SP2, ATI 1650 Pro VC. Antec 500 W PS. I have the following settings in the Bios for my OC.

CPU FSB-430X7
Dram Freq 860 mhz
PCI Ex Freq Auto
Spread Spec-Dis
memory Voltage-Auto
CPU Vcore-1.375
FSB Termin 1.20
NB Vcore-1.25
SB Vcore-1.50
Ich Chipset-1.057
Dram Cas-5
Dram Ras-6
Dram Ras Precharge-6
Activate to precharge-6

I am running stable at 3GHZ, CPU temp according to Asus PC Probe runs idle at 35C, under the burn in test in Sandra CPU goes up to 53c, then drops down after CPU tests. Had the burn in module running for 4 hours and all test completed. I am happy with speed, I do VE so I need a stable system. Any suggestions on what should be changed? Thanks.

You are overclocking your memory somewhat, so normal practice would be to boost the memory voltage. You could run MemTest86+ through multiple cycles and if it passes it is likely ok. Also normal practice to set PCI Ex Freq to 100. My guess with voltage increased a bit (+0.1 to +0.2), you can leave DRAM freq in SPD, and get quicker timings. Use CPU-Z to tell you what it does. If you really want to stress it, download Intel TAT and run it at 100% to see what happens.
