Hi. I'm planning on getting and E6600 and want to overclock. Will this vanilla P5B-E overclock well?

http://www.asus.com.au/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=307&model=1347&modelmenu=1

What features am i missing by going this instead of say, the Deluxe, which is $100AU more expensive.

Also, what RAM should I get, i want to around 3.3Ghz, and I want 2Gig of ram, and dont want to spend the earth.

I will be getting a DX10 ATI card when they come out, so i'm assuming i'll need to CPU power to run that thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like i'm going with the Deluxe. :)

How about the Ram. Do I really need 800Mhz? Cant I get 667 and just use FSB multipler?

The P965 doesn't support memory dividers, the lowest ratio is 1:1. So if you don't intend to overclock the memory, the fastest speed you can reach is 9x333 or 3GHz with an E6600.

Newegg is now shipping the 1.02G version of the P5B-E which features 2.45 max vdimm and the addition of NB voltage(not controllable on the 1.01v) up to 1.7 and SB voltage

With the new revision the only real difference from the deluxe is a few features(dual lan ports,etc..) and better chipset cooling.

RAM prices are crashing. You won't be in for as much wallet pain as you might think.
