Hum so I called my local computer retailer yesterday, after having read the latest round up of P965 chipset mobos on Anandtech and the retailer had a few in stock. Naturally they are the 1.01G variant. I asked if he had any or would be getting any in with the 1.02G revision and he called back an hour later saying he could get one and will have some but they will cost roughly $400 (CAD). Now P5B-E he has in are $181 (Canadian) right now... so HUM??? what the....??
Anyhow at this point I will get the regular 1.01g revision as from the article it seems those are still great OC?ing boards and good on price. At this stage should I instead consider another board? I have ordered the 2 Gb of Team PC6400 DDR2 800MHZ 4-4-4-10 and the e6400. Should I be concerned about this P5B-E not going over 2.1V on the RAM if I need to OC or should this RAM be ok? If not what board then since I already ordered the RAM?
Thanks!~
