Hi there, I am not very good with computers, but know enough to get by.
I bought this:
p5b deluxe w/wifi
e6400 CPU
1 gig RAM
320 SATA HD
Here are my problems:
1.) I cannot for the life of me get XP/SP2 to even see that I have an audio "card" I tried switching it to AC'97, tried installing the new software, just gives me an error of "HD audio bus driver needs to be installed"
2.) In my device manager I have a ?PCI card that always prompts me to install for but I cannot get a driver for it. It doesn't say anything except "PCI" so I don't even know where to start. Could it be my audio? I tired that, but it doesn't accept the driver.
