I just finished installing my new P5B Deluxe mobo, but when I entered the BIOS it said my CPU was at 56 degrees Celsius and rising! I haven't used the CPU in a week, so its not like it was already warm, and I attached the stock Intel HSF with some Arctic Silver Ceramique, so what's up? Is it a BIOS flaw (I haven't flashed it yet), a HSF installation error, or what? Any other P5B owners have this problem?

Has to be a mounting problem with your heatsink. Take it off completely and remount it, noting if any brackets are bent, etc.
