After reading all the post on this, I'm really confused.

1) are their true "performance gains"

2) What is the easiest way to setup AHCI on this board?😕

This worked great for me..... got it from XS.

Next after the OS is loaded get this and run it in Windows- http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts...dID=12093&strOSs=44&OSFullName=Windows

I just got a P5B deluxe and (unfortunately) did a clean OS install with my Raptor on IDE mode. Switching over to IDE causes a bluescreen. If I uninstall the SMB, IDE, and SATA drivers, reboot, and switch to AHCI, will my system boot up properly and go through the install wizard for the SMB, IDE, and SATA drivers?
