P55M-UD2 12v 2x4 cable

i just built my new pc, in over 4 years, with the following components:
i5 750 oc'ed to 3.6
4gb ram
p55m-ud2
5770 gpu

My question is in regards to the 12v 2x4 power connector on the motherboard. The manual indicates that it is recommended for "Intel Extreme Edition CPU (130W)". However, I only have a 12v 2x2 power connector. Anything booted fine, with the 2x2 power connector, and I was able to run Intel Burn test and Primes 95 without any issues. Max temp on Intel Burn test was 62C. Should I buy a new PSU with a 12v 2x4 connector just to be safe? I am a little worried as I overclocked the processor.

Thanks,

What PSU is it?

If it works fine, then I'd leave it alone. It might help for overclocking, but that board isn't meant for crazy high overclocks anyways.
