Bought a p4 1.8 combo at Fry's Electronic along with a 256 pc2100, Radoen 7200 card, 30G Western Digital, Atx 350 watt box, and put it together for a new computer which I've done many timel; however, this time one fried and wont boot. It made a long beep noise but no post screen. I dont know what i did but I'll fried 2 board already. Hope Fry's take the board back again. Plz someone give me an idea why the board keep on buring.

One long beep is memory - take your board out of the case and try reseating your RAM on a flat surface.

Sometimes the memory at Fry's can be suspect also. Did you get the "30 day warranty-cheaper" RAM or the Lifetime warranty? I got burned with their RAM before. It is simply not worth it IMHO. Crucial has as good or better prices and excellent quality. No contest. But try reseating the RAM a couple of times first, along with the CPU.
